PADI Rescue Diver Course

This course is designed for divers who wish to develop accident prevention and management skills and gain confidence and self-assurance by learning how to assist other divers. By the end of this course, students will be able to recognize and correct problems in the water before they become emergency situations. The course consists of approximately 8 hours of classroom time, a written exam, confined water exercises, and practical application exercises and scenarios where the student learns to manage rescue operations.

Location: Aquatic Adventures, Inc. and Pearl Lake
Prerequisites: PADI Advanced Open Water Diver, PADI Emergency First Response (or equivalent First Aid & CPR certification)
Books: Rescue Diver Manual and Rescue Diver Video
Course cost: $225 (books and equipment rental not included)
